How long has Klyde Warren been around?
Since opening in 2012, Klyde Warren Park has become Dallas’ town square. The 5.2-acre deck park united Uptown and Downtown Dallas and created a vibrant, walkable community for more than one million visitors each year.
What is so unique about Klyde Warren Park?
An increasingly important function of public parks is their availability to everyone, regardless of age, ethnicity, income or physical or cognitive ability. With many of the families in the surrounding five-mile radius struggling to stay above the poverty line, providing a safe and free option for educational enrichment, creative play, cultural awareness, and weekend entertainment is an incredible opportunity for the entire community. While the City of Dallas is home to extensive cultural and educational opportunities, the Park offers a unique haven where all members of our community can expand their horizons, play safely, and build memories with their families.
