Alto is a proud sponsor of this year's Marine Corps Marathon. The Maggie O'Neill Art Car will appear as the pacer car in the MCM50K, driven by Alto lead driver and Navy veteran Marcus Banks.
A portion of rides in the Maggie O'Neill Art Car will be donated to TAPS, a nonprofit organization providing compassionate care and comprehensive resources for all those grieving the death of a military or veteran loved one.
The Maggie O'Neill Art Car is now on the road in D.C. in celebration of this year's Marine Corps Marathon on October 30th.
The Marine Corp Marathon was established in 1976 and is currently the ninth largest in the world. 30,000 runners from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and more than 50 countries will participate. It is known as the “Marathon of the Monuments” as the route passes the Jefferson, MLK, FDR, Vietnam War, Korean War, and World War II Memorials, the Arlington National Cemetery and the Marine Corps War Memorial. In honor of this route we selected Maggie O'Neill's Pineapple Skies, which features two monuments, for this iconic Art Car.
The Maggie O'Neill Art Car will be the official pacer car for the Marine Corp Marathon 50K. Visit us at the MCM to see the car in person and meet the Alto team.
